My research focuses on bioenergetic processes in various organisms, with particular emphasis on the capacity of cyanobacteria and archaea to produce biogas with significant energy potential. The unique metabolic pathways of these microorganisms, especially in environments with limited resources, present an exciting opportunity for renewable energy production. Cyanobacteria, through photosynthetic and nitrogen-fixing capabilities, and archaea, with their robust methanogenic pathways, offer promising avenues for efficient biogas generation.
